Kusur Jungle trek is one of the most beautiful treks in the Sahyadris. Kusur Jungle trek offers some spectacular views of waterfalls, cliffs, dense forest, and cloudy peaks. You will see The Giant Squirrel state animal of Maharashtra, here. It's a huge plateau with a variety of plants and a gorgeous trekking path.

Itinerary
  1. Start from Pune on Saturday at 4 am.
  2. Reach Jambivali village by 6:30 am and have breakfast and tea there. The trek will start at 7:30 am from the temple. 
  3. Trek will end at 1 pm, and have lunch at Kusur village. 
  4. The return journey will start at 2 pm. We will reach Pune between 6 pm to 7 pm.

Things to Carry
  • 1-2 liter of water mandatory
  • Torch
  • Trekking shoes(CTR)
  • A proper backpack(No side bags and jholas)
  • Some dry fruits/dry snacks/energy bars. Glucon D/ORS/Tang/Gatorade sachets
  • Cap
  • Raincoat or poncho
  • Personal First Aid and medicine
  • Extra pair of clothes, napkins
  • Identity proof
  • Full sleeves t-shirt and full track pants; this will protect from thorns/insects/prickles
  • Dry bag for your garbage
  • Footwear(to wear after the end of the trek)

  • It is most essential to be fit and fine before heading for trekking
