Overview

Lingya Ghat is a scenic spot located within Tamhini Wildlife Sanctuary. Lingya waterfall is on the route to Kurdugad (Vishramgad). It is located near Lavasa City and Dhamanoval village. 
We will start from Pune(Bhapkar petrol pump), Swargate, on Sunday at 4 am. We will reach Dhamanoval around 7:30 am. The trek leader will give a briefing to all participants. Rappelling equipment will be distributed to everyone. Before getting started with rappelling, we will have to walk for 45 minutes towards the rappelling point. The height of the waterfall is approximately. 250ft. After the rappelling activity is over, you can also enjoy the waterfall. After rappelling, we will have to do 1 hr trek to come back to Dhamanoval village. Delicious lunch will be served at Dhamanoval village.
Reach Pune by 8 pm.

Things to Carry
  • 1-2 liter of water mandatory
  • Trekking shoes(CTR)
  • A proper backpack(No side bags and jholas)
  • Some dry fruits/dry snacks/energy bars. Glucon D/ORS/Tang/Gatorade sachets
  • Cap
  • Scarf for ladies(mandatory)
  • Raincoat or poncho
  • Stick
  • Personal First Aid and medicine
  • Extra pair of clothes, napkins
  • Identity proof
  • Full sleeves t-shirt and full track pants; this will protect from thorns/insects/prickles
  • Dry bag for your garbage
  • Footwear(to wear after the end of the trek)

  • It is most essential to be fit and fine before heading for trekking 
  • While planning your trekking trip, it is preferable to have a medical fitness checkup done.
